Dancensations Dance Center has been a leader in dance and gymnastics training in the Northern Virginia region since 1989. Under the direction of Pat Hawkes, Gloria Hampton, and Suzanne Lynch, Dancensations has been providing excellence in dance and gymnastics training through qualified, experienced staff, and has produced numerous dancers who have gone on to professional entertainment careers. Our studio offers classes to all ages and abilities in various styles of dance and gymnastics. We provide our students with a nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth through class and performing experience. For the more advanced and serious dancers and gymnasts, we also offer competitive groups that help to further develop students' performance and technical skills. DDC was recently named in the Top 50 Dance Schools in the country by the Federation of Dance Competitions (FDC), a national dance competition organization.

Located within the Hayfield Shopping Center, Dancensations resides at 7572 Telegraph Road, across from Hayfield Secondary School. With 5 spacious dance rooms and a fully-equipped gym with sprung floors, Dancensations has been teaching dance and gymnastics for more than 18 years.

For those who just want to express themselves through music and movement in a fun, educational program, we offer non-competitive classes. We also have award-winning competitive teams, which have been World and Regional Champions for the past 20 years. We offer classes for pre-schoolers with dance and gymnastics classes geared for boys and girls ages 2-5. We have an adult fitness program which focuses on specialized classes in yoga/pilates, mat pilates and body sculpting taught by experienced, certified instructors. We also offer a gymnastics preteam and competive team.
