Contemporary: Like the contemporary styles seen on "So You Think You Can Dance," this class focuses on a newer style of jazz dance, which incorporates jazz technique with undertones of modern and a strong classical ballet base. Class begins with a 30-40 minute warmup starting with the upper body and slowly working to encompass the core and limbs, followed by one or two progressions. This class is primarily movement oriented to familiarize everyone with the style of the work and ends with a center contemporary jazz combination.
